Registered Massage Therapist
Hellerwork Practitioner since 2010,
Structural Integrity Body Worker since 2014,

Maclain has spent most of his massage career as a Structural Integration bodyworker. He graduated from Pacific Rim College as a Hellerwork Practitioner in 2010 and then spent 4 years at the Institute of Structural Medicine in Washington State in the 2,500-hour training program under Donna Bajelis, graduating in 2014.
These programs have given Maclain an understanding and appreciation for the fascial networks of the body. He is also a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy program and Registered Massage Therapist since 2022.
Treatment Style:
- Assessments such as Range of Motion, Palpation, Manual Muscle Testing, functional movements, and orthopedic tests specific to symptoms
- Structural Integration
- Myofascial release
- Swedish massage techniques
- Trigger point therapy
- Joint mobilizations
- GTO release
- Passive and active range of motion
- Passive and active stretching
Maclain’s approach to massage is dependant on the needs of the patient in front of him. Whether the preference is for light, moderate, or deep pressure he can help the patient to find what works best for their healing. His favoured style of treatment is myofascial release, though he is able to work in many different styles. He enjoys the puzzle-like quality of helping a patient unravel and overcome their physical pain to restore them to a life of health and ease.
